I think it's great that you were saved, Oracle.
Unfortunately, the small, and unlikely, risk that rjk can attest to having may be too much of a risk to try a med combo in all but the most exceptional cases.
There's no way of predicting what one's responsible will be too such a combo. Obviously it's contraindicated in a med-sensitive, as any doc who's worth his M.D. would know. But treatments really should be exausted beforehand, including CBT and maybe even a stim.
Depression, in my view, is more of a "legit" reason for going on a combo. My p-doc trying to put me on a combo when he KNOWS a low dose of Klonopin will work but wants me to "avoid the benzos" is STUPID. That's ignoring a safe and effective med and needlessly risking a combo that may not even work anyway.
