I am BP, but I also had really bad anxiety. The mood stabilizers have completely taken away my anxiety. There are a lot more of them out there -if you cannot tolerate the side effects of Depakote, you might want to ask your pdoc if you can try one of the others. Or, maybe try lowering the dose of the Depakote (?)
