> I'm trying to decide with my therapist which long-acting stimulant to try after using Focalin or Ritalin for years now. The only long-acting one I have tried was Concerta and I didn't like it that much, although I feel like I didn't give it a fair trial. Since I have never tried Dexedrine, my doc wants to try the XR version --Adderall -- first.

Dexedrine IR didn't help ADHD symptoms much, but helped daytime drowsiness better than anything else, and was actually somewhat anxiolytic. Ritalin LA was Ok, but was too expensive for its wavy releasing and responsiveness. Never tried Concerta.
