Fish oil's: What brand is safest??

My son (age 17) has mood swings and I really am worried about him. His mother would never let him take any kind of mood stabilizers. But I think she would let him take fish oil. Can anyone recomend what brand of fish oil (and how to order it), is safest from contaminants?
