Provigil - twice a day okay?

Posted by CindyLou on November 22, 2002, at 15:06:08

Hi all,
I've just added Provigil to my mix of Lexapro (2.5 mg) and Klonapin (0.5 mg. as needed for anxiety). I added the Provigil due to intense fatigue.

Most literature (and my pdoc) say to take the Provigil once a day in the morning. But I find that about 5 or 6 hours after taking it I get very tired and "crashy" ... foggy-headed, the works. This morning I took 100 mg., and I had the crash affect around 1 p.m. so I took another 100 mg. and I feel a bit better. Does this make any sense?

Looking forward to some feedback. Thanks!

cindy

P.S. I am famous for meds "pooping out" on meds, and I am also very med-sensitive. I usually can only tolerate very small doses of meds. I am surprised that I am tolerating 100 mg Provigil (so far, at least.)
