Good news and a question

Posted by alex01 on November 19, 2002, at 4:19:51

Great news for anyone who remembers my earlier problems with panic attacks/overstimulation which kicked in after taking a very small amount of dexamphetamine. The effect has lasted 14 months (of hell) but is going away. Lithium helps and beta blockers worked too. A neurologist had heard of one other person with this problem and it went away after 12 months.

This means i am back to my good old anxious/depressed self ( for which i took the dex in the first place after trying all the usual anti-depression meds).

Apart from flustered, cant concentrate, tense feeling, my muscles ache like I have the flu. Im still on the lithium so i know that if i weren't i'd feel more depressed and probably more anxious as well.

My question is, is this normal sounding dysthymia? IM interested in the can't concerntrate and sore muscles angle specifically.

Any ideas?
