I do feel however that if a celexa, or zoloft worked for anxiety it's better in many ways than are benzos. If SSRI's don't work, than go to the benzos by all means. If Celexa or Zoloft stop working they can be easily withdrawn in most people. Xanax or Ativan cannot be easily removed for most people. Klonopin isn't that much easier either. I think it's important to take into account everyones individual differences which no study can effectively do. I would use what is easiest to use first and then whatever is necessary. Thats my take on the situation..
