Lithium has served me so well for over 20 years;
I have not had one day of depression or mood
fluctuation; it just seems to me that since
the Synthroid (used for lithium-induced hypothyroidism)
was lowered, i have more gastrointestinal problems;
it could be something else. My dr. does not think
that my lithium level is high, but I AM hypothyroidic;
maybe i need one of those slow release preparations.What i am doing now, is skipping 1 cap (of the daily 3)
but only ONCE a week, and that seems to be helping;
but have not done it long enough to say it is the lithium.
It could be remnants of Klonopin withdrawal.Sheesh!
Anyway thank for taking the time to advise; yes
as an athlete your perspiration would really put
you at risk with lithium.Squiggles
