if it helps any, i have been on wellbutrin for about 8 months now and it has been acompinied by a slew of other drugs; most of which i have been very unhappy with (some of these include prozac, celexa and efexor which is not really an ssri beacuse it effects norepinephrine as well, but it is similar). Wellbutrin is the only drug i have absolutely no complaints about, which is probably a relief to my doctors- there is a drug i don't complain about . i have problems with generalized anxiety and panic disorder, i worried that the wellbutrin might agrandize my nervousness, but i don't remeber having any trouble with it. when i started the drug i was a bit wired for a week or so, but that effect has since faded (much to my chagrin when i have a paper due).wellbutrin even had some positive effects that were additional to its anti depressant qualities. i lost a few pounds, which i needed after being on zyprexa (read as evil) and i quit smoking with no effort at all. lastly, my partner was pretty happy with wellbutrin as opposed to ssris, my sex drive was back and i was rearing to go . anyway i wish you the best of luck with any medication you try, and i hope this less than brief synopsis of my experience offers some help.
