I was prescribed lexapro for anxiety, agrophobia, and major depression. It started working wonders on the anxiety, panic, physical tension, excessive worry within two days of taking and that is 10 mg.'s once a day.

So far (week 3) I feel GREAT...actually really great except that I'm still really tired all the time, which was part of my prob with Celexa. Sexual side effects are another prob, but that's another story. A lot of the drugs that are prescribed for depression seem to have a lot of anti-anxiety properties as well and usually are pretty effective. Celexa has worked for me, as has Serzone and now Lexapro. I also take .5mg of Klonopin twice a day. Good luck!
