I can't find anything definitive in Medline.In broad strokes, vitamin D status (because of exposure to sunlight) does correlate with seasonal affective disorder incidence (the so-called latitude effect). Preliminary (very small subject pools) studies have shown mood improvement with vitamin D supplementation.
