OCD is in part precipitated by dopamine
levels. As dopamine gives reward to the
repetition of an act. Gernerally OCD is
helped by SSRI's because of there indirect
effect on dopamine, and because Seretonin
is an inhibitory chemical in itself.

You could give it a try,
Don't try remeron, as it can
really exasperate OCD as it did
mine.
