> I know exactly what you're going through. I have no clue either. I hope it's soon though. These mood swings are doing very bad things to my GPA, roomate, boyfriend, and parents. How long have you been having these withdrawl symptoms. My dr. recommended that I switch to Prozac and something for my A.D.D. because I've been having problems with the effexor. You may want to talk to your doc about switching you. I've been told that the side effects won't be as bad when I switch to the Prozac(we'll see about that!!!) on saturday. Hope that this helps some.
I have been having the withdrawal symptoms for about 2 weeks and in the meantime, I have tried Lexapro (made me too nauseuos) and now am back on Zoloft. I am very frightened that the depression is never going to subside and am overwhelmed with trying to deal with this while raising three kids and holding down a full-time job. How long have you been off the effexor? Is the depression constant for you or does it come and go? Hang in there and keep me posted.
