Risperdal and ?what? to counter weight gain

I've been on Risperdal before for borderline personality disorder and self injury. It seemed to work in leveling out my moods. But, I freaked out when I started gaining weight. Is there another drug anyone has tried or would suggest to possibly offset the weight gain. I've been reading a lot about Topomax making you lose weight???????
