I have GAD and I have been on Klonopin for 4 years, but now I want to get off of it. All the SSRIs I've taken in the past have given me such bad side effects that I have stayed away from them, but I think the only way for me to get off the Klonopin is to go onto a anti-depressant. My pdoc told me about Serzone and Lexapro. She said she hasn't had enough feed back from patients that are on these drugs, so she isn't sure if she wants to put me on either of these. Has anyone had any experiences on these drugs? and if so were they good or bad? I've read alot of talk about Lexapro, different people say different things. I haven't heard anything about Serzone. Has anyone with GAD been on either of these drugs? My anxiety is very extreme.
