positive paxil experiences?

I just searched this board for "paxil," and of all the hundreds of messages, I couldn't find a single positive one. I've just started taking it (switching from effexor), and the fact that no one seems to have anything good to say aout it makes me a little apprehensive. Is my doctor who prescribed it crazy, or are there people out there who have been helped by Paxil? I could use a little encouragement. By the way, I'm taking it for BPII, along with lithium and a little zyprexa. Thanks for your help.
