I was taking Effexor XR and added Wellbutrin SR to help the sexual side effects and it was disasterous for me. I got panicky, dry mouth, emotional instability, numb skin, body jerks, exagerated reflexes. I think it was too much norepinephrine. I have no idea how you will respond. But I just had to get off of it myself. After a month without either I finally am free of withdrawal shocks and my emotions have stabilized. Sex works again too. I'm just thinking that adding Wellbutrin to Remeron may not be a good idea because of my experience with combining with Effexor which also increases seretonin (and norepinephrine). Could you change the dose of Remeron? I heard 30-45 mg is more activating, and 15 mg is more sedating (because of histamine effects predominate at lower doses).
