My left eye seems to see more bluish tones and everything is SO pale...the right eye seems to see brighter tones and everything is more reddish...

I noticed that *before* I saw an eye doc. I developed a tiny cataract in one eye near the center of my vision while I was on Mellaril. It was just annoying and never got worse. But, I also noticed the hue shift (at that time-with me it is the varying intensity of green from eye to eye). Many years later I finally had a slit-lamp exam and it was confirmed (cataract in one eye, pigmented retina in the other). Important distinction---*I* attributed the perceived hue shift to the pigmented retina-there may be another explanation-it is so subtle I always forget to ask him about it.
