>I'm sorry, I have to disagree. Celexa has withdrawal symptoms for a lot of people. Some symptoms may include: dizziness, tingling sensations , tiredness, vivid dreams, irritability or poor mood. It took over a month for me to feel well enough to try the next anti-depressant.
That being said, I do think it's a good drug and I wouldn't shy away from trying it because of the withdrawal symptoms. Two options for a better withdrawal are to taper extremely slowly and/or switch to Prozac temporarily. They have found that if you switch to Prozac while the withdrawal would be occuring you won't experience the side effects. Then when you discontinue Prozac the side effects are basically nil. Prozac has a much longer half-life so there aren't really any reported side effects for it.
