Heh... again, that happened to me on Effexor, too. It's not that it stopped working, it just seemed less effective. Even the side-effects were different: more dry mouth, less weakness.

Of course I had trials of Wellbutrin and Remeron between the first and second trials of Effexor that did unpleasant things to my brain chemsitry and may have contributed to this difference, but still...

I think you should really consider quitting Effexor now and trying something else. If your experience mirrors mine, the muddleheadedness you feel on the stuff won't go away. And it's not worth putting up with when there's so much else available.
