I always have trouble relating when people are unhappy about not dreaming. To me, this would be heaven! My dreams are just annoying messes... too jumbled and incoherent to even recount in most cases (which irritates my pdoc, since he likes to analyze dreams). And to the extent these dreams are lucid, they usually involve insecurities and unpleasant emotions. (Fyi, I'm not depressed.) So, mopey, if you want trade no-dreaming for mine, let's talk!
I realize that most people *do* like to dream. And once in awhile I do have a very pleasant or poignant one. But the one surprise side effect of the MAOI Nardil that I *greatly* appreciated (vs. the other s.e.'s, which were awful), is that it suppresses memory of dreams. (This is apparently a documented effect.) So if you do want to dream, avoid Nardil.
