In reply to Mental dulling - any ideas which med?, posted by amber_spirit on September 11, 2002, at 11:02:02
Hi Amber
Your post is a perfect description of what I am going through right now. I am a teacher too and have been having pronounciation problems, lack of fluency in speech and in thought.

This just describes it perfectly. The only med I am taking right now is 2.5 mg valium every few days for muscle spasms. I have been blaming these fluency problems on menopause [it *helps* to blame something...forgive me if menopause is an inappropriate thing to mention.]

I had an awful day like this in class this week. Makes me feel threatened, i.e., like I will have to quit.Hope you get an answer to your question and that the mental dulling subsides.
Please let us know how it goes...
