"I said "but Zopiclone isn't a benzo" (they're insanely anti-benzo in New Zealand at the moment), and he replied, "No but it might as well be." A mysterious remark."

Evidently the incidence of withdrawal for this stuff is a lot lower than for benzos, but it DOES happen to some people, and about as badly at that.
