> Pdoc told me to take half of the Zoloft for 3 days while at the same time taking the 10 mgs. of Prozac (small dose since I am very med sensitive). So far I am having rebound depression and nausea from cutting the Zoloft. The Zoloft was added to my meds to help with anxiety (I also take Lamictal, Remeron, Risperdal and Ritalin XR). I don't know what it was about the Zoloft, but I have been packing on the pounds, can't even fit in my regular clothes. Pdoc thinks some of it might be water weight. Maybe I will get lucky and the pounds will start falling off. Had to laugh, pdoc said the major side effect of Prozac is weightloss! I said "Bring it on!!" Geesh, I should be so lucky. So you liked Prozac huh? I am sure hoping it helps with my anxiety. Does 10 mgs. sound like enough to work? How long do you think it will take until I get some anxiety relief? I really felt great on on the Zoloft, took the edge off for me and made things much easier to roll off my shoulders. Now I am back to emotional "reality" and I don't like it.

> P.S. The good news is that the Ritalin is working out well for the ADD. Just started the Ritalin XR version. Hope this is not wrecking havoc too!I never experienced any "porkogenic" response from Prozac. I wouldn't get too excited about "weight-loss" from it though. If the Zoloft is the true culprit for your weight gain-that might be different, however. The only two meds I been on (out of dozens), that clearly packed on pounds was Depakote and Remeron. What does your pdoc say about the Remeron?
