ssri side effects (EPS)

I take 50 mg of benadryl 4 times a day for akathisia that I get from paxil. Benadryl works pretty good for this but I don't like taking it 4 times a day. What are some other options? I need the paxil, I can't throw that away. I heard benzos are good. Any input would be great..
