Antidepressants are frequently prescribed for patients on methadone,especially if the dose is small or being reduced.Reduction in opiates causes craving,anxiety and depression and usually SSRIs like Paxil are prescribed if necessary.It might be worthwhile adding omega-3 fish oil too-see www.omega3.20megsfree.com for details.
