Financial worry can really make the situation feel more desperate. It will make any situation feel awful whether it is or not (not passing any judgement whatsoever on your particular situation). It can be hard to see the options.

If I can make a suggestion: see a regular general practitioner doctor or nurse practitioner and discuss this issue. (if you can't handle the fee at the moment there are free clinics). Be completely honest about what's going on and your concerns about your health possibly worsening and where you could get help. There are some safety nets out there and they can help you find them. There are always options.

Hang in there. There are many people with no insurance. An ER will not turn you away if you think you will hurt yourself or someone else.
