Different types of Anxiety

Posted by Linkadge on August 26, 2002, at 8:24:18

it seems to me that different types of
anxiety exist and are helped by differnt
medications.

I have many types of anxiety, The first
is performance anxiety, never being
confident in my performance (on tests,
exams, recitals etc) the other is a strange
sort of anxiety that is rather abstract,
anxiety about pollution, pesticides, smog,
all the things that I have no way of really
rating. I found that Celexa is best for my
performance anxiety, but somewhat worsens
my other anxiety. Remeron on the other hand
made everything seem brighter, crisper and
more visually distinct, this really helped
my fear of polution, and smog because it made me feel more a part of the terrain (very strange)
effexor did the same thing. I think the norepinephrine makes you feel somewhat more
physically (not emotionaly) durable.

I have difficulty explaining it
