> Hi, I made a post about Parnate a couple of days ago, and thanks to all who answered that. Did anybody who takes Parnate notice a partial response at a lower dose, and then have a better response at a higher dose? Also, I noticed for some people Parnate quits working after a few months. Are there people who have taken Parnate for a while, and it still works?
I have had great success with Parnate. I had good effects at 60mg, so we increased slowly to 100mg. That was as much as I could handle without getting too dizzy from low blood pressure. I split the dose into three times per day to diminish the side effects. I felt better than I had in years. I haven't experienced any poop-out. I've been on it over 10 months now. I am actually tapering down now (very, very slowly). I started augmenting with Lamictal a while ago and we're going to try switching to Lamictal at a high dose so I don't have the restrictions and dangers of Parnate. But, if I start feeling worse, I'll have no qualms about returning to my regualr Parnate. It's been a life-saver for me.
