It is still possible to get Bup IF you can get a presription, right, Cisco? As I understand, it's scheduled "lightly" enough (at least now) such that any MD or psychiatrist can prescribe it for any reason they want. The "special training program" that docs have to go through to prescribe it for addicition therapy doesn't prevent them from prescribing it for other reasons (if they have the guts and the imagination). Personally, given that the sublingual "Subutext (Sp?)" version of Bup doesn't seem to work so well, I think a promising way to take it, since it comes in an injection liquid that apparently is destroyed in the digestive tract, is to mix it with DMSO gel. Just break open the ampule, and mix it yourself, and rub it on. I read that that's been tried with morphine for pain relief, and works well. I think the schedule that it's on now even allows for 5 refills. I certainly sympathize with your annoyance with the government. I truly wish this REALLY was a free country, where the choice of the means of the pursuit of happiness was left to the individual. Our government encourages only ONE way to pursue happiness: WORK-SPEND-CONSUME.
