But I'm wondering . . .A few months ago I took risperdal("the most frequently prescribed antipsychotic medication in the US" good for phycosis, mania, and whatever else ails you) in addition to celexa. My pdoc claimed to be prescribing it to augment the celexa, but I think it was really meant to take care of what he viewed as agitation. In any case, I ended up often feeling drugged and drowsy during the day, but still stressed, and not sleeping any better at night. Also, it didn't go well with alcohol - made me nauseous. I wouldn't suggest taking it for help sleeping.
