hello one and all. i have lurked for a bit here, and i have high respect for the quality of posts and posters on this forum. with that in mind, i post a query:
i take 25 mg seroquel and 20 mg celexa as a part of my daily functioning routine. i do not know my dx, and i suspect the docs have not nailed it down. they suspect BPII (with depression being the problem lately), but won't confirm due to confounding recreational pharmaceutical use.
at any rate, i have had a sore throat for the last few days, and from time to time have had a little difficulty swallowing. it's the kind of sore throat that i would wait out for a week if i wasn't on meds. however, i am concerned it is a side effect of meds. (i have been taking the meds for months and months now with no ill effects).
seroquel's product info warns that if sore throat occurs, to see a doctor. so off to the doc i go, i guess. but why is a sore throat a significant side effect? does it mean i have to stop taking the meds? (i like them the way they are)
any insight is appreciated.
