Three weeks on a MAOI did more for me than 10 years of every type of therapy offered, and made me feel normal for the first time in 30 years. CBT is especially helpful for those of us with anxiety disorders, especially panic/agoraphobia. However all the CBT in the world can't help me right now because my brain won't cooperate without med.'s. I plan on using both eventually - but first - brain chemistry adjustment! I'm sure most out there will agree.
