I am not an expert but I believe twitching can mean that some bad neurological stuff can be going on. I also have a drug history and suffered from twitching when I overdid it. You're not still using, right?
MRI means magnetic resonant imaging. Your doctor needs a good reason to order one because the tests are expensive. A computerized x-ray machine will take x-rays of your brain in cross-sections.
If anything is wrong, they'll find it.
