My copays for my HMO have been reduced by 50% due to the parity, they are now the same as I would pay to see a regular doctor. This is nice, saves me quite a bit. The HMO also informed me that they no longer limit my hospital coverage to 30 days per year. They say now it is unlimited. I had to laugh!! Last year I had to BEG them to let me in the hospital, and I was suicidal at the time. Just because the days are no longer limited, does not mean my HMO will agree to cover them which stinks! I hope you guys have better insurance than I do.
