Isnt that self contradicting? what if one was to say "i would like to further investigate this option." just saying no would not be speaking(or doing)what is on there minds. and speaking our minds, within certain boundries, is all we here are doing.
the issue of illegal drugs is certainly an interesting and important one. this site definetly does not revolve around this issue, but being a drug related site, i see this kind of discussion as being very much relevant. this is a discussion, and in a discussion people do give there opinions. you may not like something i say, and i may not like something you say. but to completely throw something away based one event, i would say not a good idea. im certainly up to discuss the reasons you find something not to your liking.
and regarding the issue of disobaying laws, im afraid that like omega man said, these laws do not always speak for the majority of people. i certainly would not want my child to be aborted, but this is perfectly legal. (not to bash north american law, i think its some of the best in the world) or for example the nazis forced young men to fight for them or die, and by fighting for them many had to do horrific things. would disobaying the law here be wrong? i dont think so. i know this comparison is not on an equivalent level, but simply to bring in the underlying idea.
if you say illegal drugs= evil, i assume you mean in every way. i agree that certain drugs have there bad side, but to write them off as 100% evil i believe is not looking at the whole picture.
