I used Paxil for 11 weeks and it was great! I was laughing for no reason (forgot what that was like) and was able to not feel nervous in social situations. I was only on 40 mg. I got off of it because of the sexual side effects (delayed orgasm to 20-40 minute range). When you feel better you will be more "loving" I think. However some have complained of loss of sex drive in the long run (several months). I think it is individual though and it may work great for you. Good luck.
