Can ADHD cause sexual insensitivity? Reboxetine

Posted by AlphaOne on June 4, 2002, at 15:01:27

I (male) have long felt that sex wasn`t as good as it was supposed to be. Even masturbation wasn´t as good as it was said to be.
It appears now that I have a, well, sensitivity problem with my sex-organ.
I finally figured that out when I got Reboxetine for my Add.
At first that caused some sort of pain after ejaculation. Not a reeally unpleasant pain though.
I found an article describing that phenomenon:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=11951150&dopt=Abstract

However, after like a week on Reboxetine the pain suddenly ceased, and what happened was that the sentivity of the penis to touch etc had greatly increased, massively increasing the pleasure of sex, to what I suppose are normal levels. I was totally exhilarated, until the Reboxetine caused equally massive vertigo which wouldn`t go away so I had to discontinue it.
Being highly annoyed I`d like to know:
Does anyone experience a similarly reduced sensitivity of his/her sex-organs to stimulation?Does anyone have experience with Reboxetine´s effect on his sexual feelings?
Is there any other med causing similar effects?
