KK, it's just an idea but if you'd like it to last that long, you could try what I did with Dexedrine. I would feel the benefit kick in SO nicely when I took Dexedrine, but the wear-off would happen fairly quickly too & I didn't like the whoosh up & then down again.
I would break my tablet in half, take that piece, then about 1 1/2 hours later, take the second piece. The rise was gentler & lasted about 1 1/2 hours longer & they taper was gentler. Mind you, I'd rather feel fully awake & energised all the time, but this was a good enough alternative for me.
