Sorry, I thought I posted a reply the other day, but it doesn't look like it showed up.

Tardive Dyskinesia is a tic like movement that develops that wasn't there prior to the med. My sister (28 years old) was doing this weird sniffing thing with her nose, but only on one side. Kind of like flaring her nostril. Very weird and hard to explain. She knew she was doing it, but couldn't stop herself. It lasted for about 2 months after stopping Effexor (only 37.5). Strangely enough she ended up back on Effexor 3 months later and went up to 150 mgs. and then went off that after 6 months and had no problems with withdrawal (she was in the hospital with a kidney infection and on a morphine drip, so maybe that helped out???) I guess it's all relative!

Hope that answered your question a little.
