Are you taking thyroid medication at all? There's alot of evidence that the typically prescribed T4 isn't the whole answer for people with mood disorders. Adding T3, such as Cytomel, or taking a natural thyroid supplement such as Armour, supplies the complete thryoid hormone and just works better for us. I was hypothyroid even before starting lithium and I need the full thyroid spectrum. I take Armour, 2 grains in divided doses.
