Hello all,
I am taking SamE the natural anti depressant because of Anxiety..and it works well with no side effects for me at all. I also went to a Doctor and got Xanax prescribed for occassional bouts of higher Anxiety.After seeing that Doctor, I went to see a Psychiatrist and suggested to him that I want to take Buspar for Generalized Anxiety ETC. Well he took my advice and wrote the RX, also he suggested an anti depressant, I asked for Prozac..so he said yes and prescribed the Prozac too. Well, I didn't take the prozac because I wanted to see how the Buspar would work on it's own first. Well it has been a Godsend for me!!This is after I spoke to some other Psyche Doctor who said Buspar doesn't work.(This is the same doctor who also wouldn't prescribe Xanax,saying it's addictive, blah blah blah blah....Wow what a false thing for him to say/ Buspar is wonderful for me!! It's so weird when these Doctors don't want to prescribe what you know will absolutely help you! Now this new Psyche Doc I am seeing now, his ego was bruised when he saw I didn't take the Prozac at all..You think he would be happy for me that I am so much better on the Buspar!!! I asked him if I could go to him in the future for the ocassional Xanax..(Which I only take .25mg only for bad times which would average to only 2 a month!!! Well this guy also wouldn't do it..It's as if he said "It'll shoot your eye out kid"! Like that Christmas story Haha Anyway,I was appalled that this man did not treat me with respect and as an individual.So I will have the two Doctors(One for Buspar and One for Xanax.) What is it with these Doctors with the God Complexes? How do you convince the Doctor that you are not a drug addict? Sheeze two pills a month!!
