Hi Carly,
I'm not able to tell yet whether or not the Nardil is working to prevent migraines. I haven't had a migraine in...oh, wow...12 days. That's actually pretty good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
I'll post a message when I have an idea.
BTW I have noticed an improvement in social phobia symptoms. Its wonderful. No more heart beating out of my chest, hot flashes and sweating, stress about group functions (ya know, like meetings at work...sheesh). Its almost like they just disappeared. And to think I once my told my doctor "No, I don't have anxiety". I was a little depressed at the time, couldn't think straight.
I hope you find something wonderful for your migraines. Lamictal has been wonderful, its just not enough. I actually had less headache when I tried Celexa, but couldn't take the side effects.
Oh, I have also found, through trial and error, that I can take Fiorinal when I have a migraine (if its not a major whammy) and still work. It has caffeine, aspirin and butalbital (sp?).
Lots of luck and I'll follow up (soon I hope!)
