I believe depression and mood disorder (inluding anxiety)
are the result of a more complex imbalance in the brain due to some mostly unexplained deficiencies in the body as a whole. Considering just the aminergic theory I believe is limitating. I'd put inside some hormone theory (see GSK is developing a CRF1 antagonist) and some clinical nutrtion.
