You're lucky that your doctor validates your concerns over weight. My doctor doesn't seem to understand how serious having a weight problem is. He acts like I'm just being vain when I say that I don't want to gain more weight- I'm 120 lbs overweight to begin with!
It's only day 1 of Depakote and I already feel more calm today. Usually my hands are shaking and I'm on the verge of a nervous manic streak.
