Hey crazy chick
How are you doing now?
Anxiety disorder is a terrifying thing to go through. I had my first experience when I was 18. It is amazing how the mind can play such tricks. I am now 28 on meds again for this is my 3rd episode. Each time I start out with severe anxiety and then slip into a deep depression. On days that I was especially anxious I'd swear that I'd rather be depressed and on days that I felt the depression a lot I'd swear I'd rather be anxious. There are many good books to read and don't be afraid of the medications, start at low dosages. Sometimes you just have to stick it out with one and have faith. I was impatient and jumped around. I'd give them 2-6 weeks depending on side effects. Finally I settled on effexor and I can say that it was also a tough drug to tolerate at first. On top of that it took 3 months to even touch the depression. Take it one day at a time. Anxiety and depression will resolve themselves over time, its just how much pain do you want to go through. It takes strength to carry this burden through your life like other illnesses. Life is not easy. Put your faith in God that it will not last forever. Never settle for less than a healthy body and mind and keep trying new methods. Just the initiative bring about significant changes over time. Good luck T
