> Thanks for your share.I'm currently on Effexor+Reboxetine combo. (300 mg. Effexor, 8 mg. Reboxetine).
It works slightly better then TCA's, still it's not that great (at least for me).
I was doing better on the combo during the first three months or so, then i endured severe stress: i felt like the combo was somehow "protecting" me ; i read somewhere Reboxetine showed to have anti-stress properties, though some people believe Reboxetine alone is not that effective. Unfortunately i discontinued it a few months later (a pdoc made me quit the combo 'cause he thought it wasn't so effective , not having any effect on my main symptom, anhedonia, though apathy had improved a bit). I went back on it a couple of weeks later but i never regained the increased motivation, better self-esteem and more "positive thinking" i had experienced before.
I don't think my reaction has anything to do with poop-out syndrome though.
My personal theory is that i got hit by powerful stressors when i was "uncovered", so that the Effexor +Reboxetine combo wouldn't work well as before as it couldn't soothe my stress induced "wound" .
Positive features: feeling less "medicated" and sedated.
Negative: extreme fatigue.
