That is untrue. Lithium isnt even metabolised in your liver. The other mood stabilisers, the anticonvulsants are metabolised in your liver. But not lithium. Lithium shouldnt block ADs. At least not from a liver perspective. Lithium could make some more depressed, screwing up the antidepressant effect someone was getting from an AD. But thats a different kind of thing.
