Same, must be taken at higher doses, preferably 800mg-1600mg for effectiveness. Very expensive. Same boosts seratonin levels and dopamine levels. I would say augmenting such with a lower dose of an ssri may be helpful, esp due to dopamine effects, may counteract ssris sexual side effects.
Due to my HMO plan, id rather spend my money on medication than same at this point. In the futre, you should see same being cheaper due to the fact not many people are buying it due to the price.Omega 3's are good for the heart, joint health, and depression, but i would not rate it very effective for depression.
