I agree, but I think that it's important to note that as we learn more in Western Medicine, we tend to specialize more, and "merge" less, as there's just too much for a single practitioner to master. My guess of the future is that we will have more disease-specific docs, like a "Mood Disorder" or a "Multiple Sclerosis" doc as opposed to a Psychiatrist or a Neurologist.
